We are David, Rian, and Samantha. We are three family members and ordinary people with a passion for sustainability and a unique set of skills and experiences. David is an artist, designer, and mad scientist. Rian is an organic farmer, chicken shepherd, baking aficionado, and quality control perfectionist. And Samantha is a supply chain and materials expert with experience in global lighting manufacturing. Together we have created the only truly sustainable light bulb on the planet. Rian uses bulb parts for compost. The bulb is 85% biodegradable and designed for end-of-life disassembly. However, don’t wait around for the composting because it may outlive your newborn's high-school graduation date. Regardless, if disposed of, it reduces bulb landfill waste by 85% compared to nearly every light that exists.

We are the David versus Goliath in the lighting industry, but we are mission-driven by a greater good. The most impressive part of our bulbs is that they outperform every bulb that we have tested. Biokwantum bulbs emit more lumens per watt than mega-store big-brand bulbs, which means they are brighter, they consume far less energy per watt, which cuts energy costs, and they have an epic lifespan.
